I just want to thank everyone who attended Saturday's Art and Ag Trail Event in our beloved Sierra Valley. It is wonderful to see such interest in our bucolic rural community. You came from near and far. You came from Reno and Sparks, you came from small towns in the foothills of California (such as historic Auburn, Nevada City and Downieville), and you came from small communities in the greater Lake Tahoe Basin (Incline Village, Truckee, Cedar Flat, Tahoe City and Kings Beach to name but a few).

The day dawned clear, sunny and warm. The sky was deep blue. The sound of laughter and bird song was in the air. Everyone enjoyed the Sierra Valley - its unspoiled beauty, its historic barns, and the chance to sample and buy crafts from local people - from hand-made cosmetics to local honey, grass fed lamb, paintings, barn quilts and much, much more.

The close-knit rural community of Sierra Valley hopes to see you next year too!

Thank you for coming to the Art and Ag Trail Event. It was such a pleasure to welcome you into our community for the day.
